1. Refund, Credit, and Transfer Policy: All tuition payments are final. There will be no refunds, credits, or transfers to another semester, class, student, or person, except in the event that Korean American Center (KAC) cancels the class. Because class seats are limited, your registration reserves a spot that can no longer be offered to another student. KAC also does not have the administrative capacity to review or process individual refund, credit, or transfer requests. Please register only if you are confident that you can attend the class as scheduled.

2. Non-Transferable Registration and Class Access: Class registrations are non-transferable. Each student must complete their own application and be officially enrolled under their own name. A registered student may not give, sell, share, assign, or transfer their class seat, tuition payment, Zoom link, LMS access, class details, recordings, materials, or any other class access information to another person. Class links, meeting information, login details, and class materials are provided only to the registered student and may not be shared with anyone else, including family members, friends, or other individuals who have not completed their own application and enrollment. Unauthorized sharing of class access information may result in removal from the class without refund or credit.

3. Attendance and Absences: In order to respect other students and instructors, students are expected to arrive on time and attend class as scheduled. No refunds or credits will be given for absences. Students may request to make up an absence by attending another section on another day, provided that space is available. Make-up attendance is not guaranteed and is subject to KAC approval.

4. Assumption of Risk and Hold Harmless Agreement: I agree to hold Korean American Center (KAC) and King Sejong Institute Foundation (KSIF) harmless from any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and costs, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or related to my participation in this program and any other activities sponsored by KAC, including travel to and from any class, program, or activity.

5. Photo, Video, and Media Release: I hereby grant KAC and KSIF the right to use and reproduce photographs, video clips, audio clips, and/or other media taken in connection with my participation at Korean American Center. These materials may be used in organization newsletters, brochures, websites, flyers, publications, social media, promotional materials, or outside school-approved publications such as newspapers, magazines, or websites promoting our language program and organization.

6. Medical Emergency and Liability Waiver: I will not hold KAC, KSIF, its host facility, staff, instructors, regular personnel, or volunteer workers liable for injury, accidents, illness, or other unexpected occurrences during class hours or other KAC activities. In case of a medical emergency, KAC personnel on duty have my permission to obtain emergency treatment for me. I have read and understand the foregoing statements. I agree to assume full responsibility for my participation and waive all claims as stated above.

7. Release of Claims: I hereby waive and release any and all rights and claims I may have against KAC, KSIF, and their respective board members, administrators, instructors, staff, and volunteers for any injuries, losses, or damages that may be suffered by me in connection with my participation, attendance, or presence on the premises of KAC or at any KAC-sponsored activity.

Parent/Guardian Agreement
I am the parent or legal guardian of the student. I have read this document, and I am signing it freely. I understand the legal consequences of signing this document, including (a) releasing Korean American Center (KAC) and King Sejong Institute Foundation, USA (KSIF) from all liability on my and the students behalf, (b) waiving my and the students’ right to sue KAC or KSIF.

In case of medical emergency, the organization personnel on duty have my permission to obtain emergency treatment for my child until I can be contacted. I have read and understand the forgoing statements. I agree to assume the full responsibility stated above and waive all claims as indicated.
